Generation 6 Collaboration - COMPLETE

The Generation 6 Collab begins now!
For everyone who was worried that there are way too few Pokémon in Gen 6, I have a surpise. We're also doing the Mega Pokémon, so the total is 122 Pokémon! Not so bad anymore, huh? ;D

You can choose if you want a normal or a Mega Pokémon. If you don't state a preference, you'll get the one I have more left of.
DECIDE BEFORE YOU COMMENT. If you edit your comment, I will probably not see it because I don't refresh every 5 seconds, and any changes you want because of that will use up your reroll.

I'd also like to use this space to introduce my new co-admin ! He had a fantastic idea about what to do with this group when the Gen 6 collab is over and will hold future events alternating with me. Please warmly welcome him!

Participation Rules

READ THE RULES AND DRAWING GUIDELINES. SERIOUSLY. Everyone is capable of following these rules, but if you don't read them, you'll probably do something wrong and cause yourself unnecessary trouble. :V
Join or at least watch the Group. If you don't do that before signing up, I will remind you. It's because I want you to get the "2 weeks left" and "3 days left" journal updates in your inbox.
Comment here and I'll give you a random Pokémon.
If you really really hate the Pokémon I gave you, you can ask for a reroll once. You then have to accept the second Pokémon and can't get the first one back.
Draw your Pokémon and submit the picture to deviantArt. Then, submit it to the Generation 6 Collab folder in the group, or do something else to make me see it. (Like mentioning me, Krisantyne, in the description or commenting on the group's profile.) It's the easiest to just submit it, though. ;D
If something comes up and you need a small extension, message me before the deadline. Don't be scared to ask, I will definitely give you one.
In the event that you can't do your entry at all, also let me know before the deadline. It's okay. No need to feel bad.
If you neither submit your entry nor tell me that you're dropping out, you will be banned from participating in the next group event and your name will stay published, so everyone can see that you fucked up.
How people that drop out will be replaced: I will go through the people that signed up and didn't get in because all slots were full from oldest to newest and ask them if they still want to join. However, I will skip people that haven't been active for too long. So if both your activity and online status are hidden, make sure to always add brand new arts to your favourites if you don't want to get skipped. :V
Start on your picture as early as possible. Don't put if off until the last day. Please. I want to see less "I'm soooo sorry it's so late and rushed!" and more "I'm so proud I finished this with 2 weeks left!"
Please NEVER EVER DELETE YOUR PICTURE. The Group Galleries are supposed to be neat, beautiful collections of all the entries, so when there's suddenly a hole, it really sucks. If you don't like the picture anymore, move it to Scraps. Nobody ever looks at those.

The deadline is 30th August, 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time.

Why 6 weeks this time? Because in 5 weeks is my wedding, so I won't have time to deal with the last minute rush on that weekend. Use the extra week wisely! xP
When all entries have been submitted, I will make a big picture with all of them together.

Drawing Guidelines

Both traditional and digital art are allowed, of course.
Draw the Pokémon in your own style. Absolutely no tracing! It can be full color, grayscale, water color, crayons, oil paint, stylized, super detailed, cartoony, realistic, whatever you want.
No Gijinkas!
For Pokémon that have multiple forms (Flabébé, Aegislash etc.), you can draw any combination of forms. It doesn't have to include the "normal" one. Just your favourite one is enough. Or draw all of them, that's cool, too.
If you want to draw a Shiny, you have to include a specimen with normal colors, too.
Traditional artists: Use plain paper (no lines, grids, squares), and if you don't have a scanner at home, either make the trek to a scanner somewhere else or photograph it OUTSIDE at DAYTIME with the best camera you can get your hands on. You want it to look as good as possible, and I will make you take a new photo if it was obviously photographed at night.
Backgrounds are encouraged, but not required.
Do not add any text to the image, except for your signature/non-obstructive watermark if you do that kind of thing. (A watermark is obstructive if it covers part of the Pokémon. If you need to have a watermark like that, send me a version without it in private. Please don't make me ask for it.) Any other distracting text will be mercilessly painted over by me. I will add the Pokémon's name, number and your name in the final picture.
Your picture must be square. If your picture is not square, I will crop it. Please don't make me cut parts of the Pokémon or important background elements. I know it's an annoying limitation to your creativity, but the big collab picture looks so much better when everything has the same format.
Your picture must be at least 320x320 pixels because that's the size they will be in the big picture. That's hella small, better make it much bigger. If you don't follow this one, you're gonna have a real bad time. :V
